Mario Kart Wii — KMP Object Query

This is the online version of the command wkmpt OBJECTS (wkmpt is a tool of Wiimms SZS Tools). Both use keywords to find and view global objects of KMP files.

The database is build from a statistical analysis of all Mario Kart Wii tracks and from information of the Custom Mario Kart Wiiki. If you find errors or know more about objects, then please edit the wiki page »Object«. The current database is based on the Wiiki version of 2022-08-29.

Query

Enter a space separated list of keywords. Keywords are searched in object names, file names and descriptions. A keyword can also be an object index written as decimal or hexadecimal number. If a keyword begins with '$', then the search is limited to the object names. If a keyword begins with '$$', then the object name must match exactly the keyword. The search is always case insensitive.

Characteristics route needed, found in tracks
Description The Angry Sun from DS Desert Hills. It changes point of view and rotation of the crown according to player's position.
Route Setting 2 controls the behavior depending on the value X:
X < 30 (1E in hex) → Stays for X/60 seconds
X ≥ 30 (1E in hex) → Drops a `FireSnake' staying for X/60 seconds.
In both cases, the dropping animation is viewed; if the route start point is set to drop, it will drop at the second "lap" of the route.
Only slots 3.1, 4.2, 6.2, and 7.1 support this object.
Setting 1 Speed
Setting 2 Delay before starting in 1/60 seconds after starting of countdown. 240 (F0 in hex) = Starts immediately after the "GO!"

Characteristics no route, solid, found in tracks
Description Street cone from Daisy Circuit. Only slots 3.1, 4.2, 6.2 and 7.1 support this object with a limit of 30. Colors can be changed in the CLR0 (maybe even added).
Setting 1 Color: 0 = Red 1 = Blue 2 = Yellow

FireSnake

FireSnake(BE)

Characteristics no route, solid, found in tracks
Description Grounded Podoboo from DS Desert Hills. It bounces casually around its position point.
It works with the object `sunDS', so it only works on slots 3.1, 4.2, 6.2 and 7.1.
Setting 1 Route id from where `sunDS' drops
Setting 2 Time before vanishing in 1/60 seconds

Characteristics no route, solid, found in tracks
Description Grounded Podoboo from Grumble Volcano. It jump from its position point describing a parabola and after landing bounces casually around the arrival point for 10 seconds until it vanishes.
Setting 1 Start delay in 1/60 seconds after starting of countdown. 240 (F0 in hex) = Starts immediately after the "GO!"
Setting 2 The time between two firesnake spawns. <600 causes the previous snake to disappear, 600 despawns each second snake immediately.
Setting 3 Units of distance from position point to landing point following the Y angulation.
