Mario Kart Wii — KMP Object Query

This is the online version of the command wkmpt OBJECTS (wkmpt is a tool of Wiimms SZS Tools). Both use keywords to find and view global objects of KMP files.

The database is build from a statistical analysis of all Mario Kart Wii tracks and from information of the Custom Mario Kart Wiiki. If you find errors or know more about objects, then please edit the wiki page »Object«. The current database is based on the Wiiki version of 2019-03-06.

Query

Enter a space separated list of keywords. Keywords are searched in object names, file names and descriptions. A keyword can also be an object index written as decimal or hexadecimal number. If a keyword begins with '$', then the search is limited to the object names. If a keyword begins with '$$', then the object name must match exactly the keyword. The search is always case insensitive.

Characteristics no route, found in arenas
Description The rising and dropping sea on Delfino Pier.
This object is different than `Psea' because it raises after a certain time to a higher level and stays there after a few raises; further the same settings as Psea.
First the water drops up and down and then after a certain time it goes up with a fast speed; this cycle is done until the max height is reached.
Setting 1 Rising height per cyclus
Setting 2 Reset height (relative to placement Y)
Setting 3 No visible changes (tested with 0x0000, 0x0001 and 0xF000)
Setting 4 Time to rise X units
Setting 5 Max height (relative to placement Y)
Setting 6 Controls when to reset, unknown values
Setting 7 Starting height (= X?)

Characteristics no route, found in tracks
Description Generates ice around the player when respawned after falling in an icy water fall boundary flag; the location doesn't matter, the ice effect is always gotten.
This object can be used to enable tracks for slot 6.1. But is has only impact with in combination with an icy boundary flag. In this case it works only at slot 6.1.

Characteristics route needed, solid, found in tracks
Description Small penguin from N64 Sherbet Land, creates a symmetrical copy of itself under the ground to simulate ice reflection.
Route setting 1: 0 = Default; 1 = Glide; 2 = Animation faster; 3 = Default.
Route setting 2 describes the speed when route setting 1 â  0, but is always required a value â  0.
Slot 6.1 enables its SFX.
